Sahajärvi beach

About 15 km from where I live resides Sahajärvi recreational area, with a public beach. Mäntsälä does not feel such of a bad place at all, on a sunny saturday morning stroll.

There seems also to be some forest route for hiking.

Ice cream at Espa

A summer cliche one must do in Helsinki? Probably yes. Though this year I was early, the city is still waking up to summer.

But since the weather is forecasted to be sunny for the whole week, I didn't feel like rushing straight to work this morning. So I took a detour via the Esplanadi park.

Having my moment there, with a cup of coffee and an ice cream, to be enjoyed while sitting on a bench, watching all the busy-looking business people on the street, rushing by you on their way to work.

I will arrive there too, but just a bit later today.

Dull dayz

It's been weeks since the last update, sorry about that. Not much is ongoing at the moment, no new travel plans.

I'm on a train right now, and it's awfully quiet and dull as I forgot my headphones. So I decided to kill some time by making a blog update.

Attached to this post are some pictures "in retrospect" from the highlights of these past few weeks: The Keragrilli near Hyvinkää (recommended for truckers), Linnanmäki amusement park in Helsinki and Pullman's Bar, in short "just another bar", but inside the nice architectural space of Helsinki's main railway station, which I seem to be so very fond of.

Things are looking good temperature-wise, the weekend has been very nice and sunny. Just add water..

Regarding moreof "spiced" water, the beer terraces' season has also started. ;)
