Stockholm by night

I've been to Stockholm many times, but in September this year finally managed to see the Gamla Stan by night. It provided a nice side setting for an otherwise casual business trip.

The royal happening in Stockholm

During May I also had a chance to visit Stockholm with the family. It happened to be the christening ceremony day of baby Estelle when we arrived there. Judging from the pictures one might disagree, but the city and public transport system were quite packed. Perhaps we would've been better of without bringing yet another baby carriage to the city right at this day. ;)

Anyway, naturally our sincere best wishes go out to the adorable Princess Estelle of Sweden! :)

Business in Stockholm

For once, it was nice to take a relaxed trip to Stockholm with the big boat. Waking up early in the morning to catch a climpse of the beautiful archipelago, as well as staying up late enough in the evening to catch the sunset. Gave energy to stay inside at the office for the whole of a warm spring day.

The ship was nicely decorated with a New York theme.

A warm summer day in Djurgården island, Stockholm

This site exceeded my expectations. Skansen is a really nice place, I'm not sure if there's anything quite like it in Helsinki - unless one counts Seurasaari, Korkeasaari and Linnanmäki altogether.

Also the cruise with Viking Mariella was nice. Stockholm's archipelago was as beautiful as ever.
