Bloggin' in the wild

This has been a great day, travelling in the Turku Archipelago (Pikku Rengastie). Right now I'm sitting on the grass, blogging, and waiting for the sun to slowly set. Next I will fry some sausage and then I will sleep good in a tent tonight. And oh, my location is Nauvo. More story to follow later. :)

Season cleaning

I had a great little helper for getting my travelling partner clean for the summer season. :)

EDIT: By the way, here is one blog I'm following with great interest; Romulla Välimerelle. It's written in Finnish, but the idea in a nutshell is that a group of people have volunteered to buy old cars (max. price 500 euros) which they intend to drive across Europe in July. From Turku, Finland to Gibraltar in Spain. It's now 15 days till start. What a nice holiday trip that would be! :)

Mäntsälä Summer Street Opening event

Another nice summer event in the centre of Mäntsälä. Actually, chronologically thinking, this was already on Friday.

Museum Cars Gathering @ Mäntsälä

It was nice to check out old cars in the center of Mäntsälä on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

Hasselholma

We went just driving around one Saturday night. Didn't make it to Loviisa yet, but found a very nice beach from Porvoo called Hasselholma. :)

Just plans: Loviisa

Just a little further than Porvoo, Loviisa might be an interesting city to visit during the summer.

Among Loviisa's main attaractions are the Svartholma sea fortress, Laivasilta harbour area ("Salt sheds"), and the Strömfors Ironworks site 18 km from the city.

Loviisa also has a camping area by the seaside, called Tamminiemi. Hmmm..
